INDIA is set to become the second largest economy in the world ahead of US by 2050 acording to GOLDMAN SACHS BRICK report. Productivity growth will help the contry sustain over 8% growth until 2020. The original report in 2003 had projected that INDIA's GDP would outstrip JAPAN's by 2032. It also said in 30 yrs the COUNTRY would be WORLD's third largest economy after CHINA and the US. The new report goes one step further by moving INDIA up from no.3 to no.2. the reasons for high productivity growth are increased openness to trade, investment in information and communication technology and greater financial deepening........

Now the question is, despite a lot of hurdle "Can we become strongest economic power till 2050"
